Easter is almost here……
and I am getting last minute items to fill Savanah’s basket. I am reusing her Easter basket that I purchased from Pottery Barn Kids when she was just two months old. I am not big on clutter so I try to reuse as many items as possible. Pottery Barn Kids have such cute baskets and the basket liner can be changed to give the basket a brand new look.
One of my favorite items I picked up for her basket is the Vogue alphabet coloring book. This is great for helping her learn her alphabet since she is starting to recognize letters. It is also great for getting her to color in an actual book instead of the walls and furniture. Savanah is in her terrible twos stage in which she likes to draw on everything especially any furniture we have that happens to be white. I’m guessing the white is too plain for her and she is trying to add a hint of color to make it look better. (Thank goodness for Mr. Cleans magic eraser)
Other items I picked out for her basket are the pineapple sunglasses from Target, the wooden pinwheel and ladybug gummies kebob both from Nordstrom. Her stuffed bunny rabbit is from Pottery Barn Kids and was purchased when she was two months old.
Decorating Savanah’s room and her playroom is my all-time favorite thing to do. I love decorating for the holidays but even more I love seeing the reaction on her face when she walks into her room or playroom and sees the decorations. She gets so excited with oohs and aahs and then five minutes later everything is thrown on the floor. I always try taking pictures beforehand so I can show family members what her room looked like before she got a hold of everything. The reality of trying to decorate a toddler’s room.
Table/chairs and kitchen set are from Pottery Barn Kids. Sandals are Steve Madden from Nordstrom. Shirt and short set (picked out by daddy) are from Kohls.
