Holidays are always fun with little ones.
Decorating for Thanksgiving is so much fun. It brings me such joy to see the excitement and enthusiasm in my little toddler as the holidays are approaching. Thanksgiving decor is taking over our home but as a mother starting over, holidays have a brand new meaning. My three oldest children are 24, 23 and 18 years of age. As they slowly reached adulthood, they created their own plans for the holidays. Between all three of them, there was always something going on. I just did the best I could to schedule a time that would be convenient for everyone to be together at the same time. (Whether early morning or late at night)
Now that I have a toddler, holidays are full of excitement and wonder. Thanksgiving is days away and my little princess and I are busy prepping and decorating for the big day. Savanah is so eager to help me with everything including to cook and clean. Her enthusiasm brings back a lot of memories to when my three oldest where her age. Seeing how fast they grew up makes me appreciate every single moment I have with my little princess. Every day with her is truly an adventure and a blessing. I wish I could keep her that age where everything she says and does is the cutest little thing.
Decorating Savanah’s room is always fun for the both of us. She likes to sit her stuffed animals and dolls at the table and pretend they are having Thanksgiving dinner. Each time she sees the turkey, she tries her best to make a gobble gobble sound. It makes her happy to see her room change with each holiday. Memories like these are the ones I will cherish the most.
Thanks for stopping by!
