Halloween is full of excitement and adventure especially with little ones. Savanah and I love coming up with creative ideas (with the help of Pinterest of course) to make fun treats for the holidays and special occasions. She was so excited for the following treats and absolutely loved them. One of Savanah’s favorite snacks is Mozzarella cheese sticks. So imagine her surprise and excitement when we used a black sharpie to draw two eyes and a mouth making it into a ghost. She loved trying to scare me with them by making them float around while saying “ooooooo”
Items needed: Black sharpie and Mozzarella cheese sticks.
Another thing we did was draw a pumpkin face onto her mandarin fruit cups creating a miniature pumpkin patch. A great way to add a little décor to your kitchen counter or kitchen table.
Items needed: Black sharpie and mandarin fruit cups.
Last thing we created was a Frankenstein grape cup. Savanah liked this one the best. It is a great way to get her to eat some healthy snacks. I keep these snacks on the lower shelf of the refrigerator giving Savanah easy access to her spooky treats.
Items needed: Black sharpie, clear plastic cups, marshmallows and green grapes.
I hope you enjoy making these treats just as much as we did. Thanks for stopping by!
