Santa’s Wonderland seems to get better each year with additional things to see and do with each visit. We love going every year and it does not disappoint. Plus it is a huge success with Savanah, her favorite being the train ride. We ride it multiple times during each visit.
Best time to visit would be on a not so crowded day/ night. I recommend going during opening weekend preferably on a Friday or Sunday. No crowds and no long lines to wait for food, rides or pictures. When it comes to purchasing tickets, I highly recommend buying them online. They are a little cheaper and makes the whole process of entering Santa’s Wonderland a bit easier.
We usually eat while we are there; my hubby and I like to eat the bar-b-que located in Frostbite’s Food Village while Savanah prefers to eat their pizza. You can find an array of food from burgers, chicken strips, chili, Tex-Mex, kettle corn, funnel cakes and etc. Food portions are pretty large and prices are reasonable.
Our favorite part of Santa’s Wonderland is the hayride through the lights. They do offer the horse carriage ride through the lights, however it is a bit pricier and you need to pick a set date and time for your carriage ride. Also it can only be taken once through the lights unlike with the hayride where you can ride times if you wish. There is no limit during your visit.
This year they added Frostbite Mountain where you can ride a tube down a mountain of snow. Savanah had so much fun doing this and so did my hubby. We made so many memories while having so much fun. I always look forward to visiting Santa’s Wonderland.
Thanks for stopping by!
